Children
Welcome to Church kids,
We invite you to come meet Jesus, explore, learn, create and just have a blast with us every Sunday.
Sunday mornings we run a full programme for Preschoolers, Primary school and Intermediate aged children. After Praise and Worship in church our children move to the church hall for their own time of Prayer and Worship and a little catch-up with ALL the children before separating into their age groups for a fun filled programme right up until the end of church service. We have a brilliant, dedicated and passionate team of trained volunteers who love spending time with running our children's programmes every Sunday.
Occasionally some of the children (Ages 5-12) go with Ma and Pa (elders from the church) visit the rest home up the road from the church to sing songs, read and pray for the people there. At the end of the year we take ALL the children and their parents out for special trip just to thank them for another year, to spend time and fellowship with them outside of the church environment.
2-4
years old move into the Church Preschool for their programme. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to bring in their babies to play, change or feed as well-if they are happy to supervise them.
5-10
years old stay in the hall for their programme.
11-12
years old move into the church office for their programme.
Other Childrens Activities
During the school holidays we don't have the normal programme, instead during the church service we take the children (Ages 5-12) to Grey Lynn Primary School (Just around the corner from the church) for some games and to play on the playground or we stay in the hall and watch an age appropriate childrens movie with ALL the children.
